Yes, I understand the problem. Implementing a search or categorization feature isn't a big thing.

Finding categories or keywords for the 2000+ icons in German and English language is the harder part. :-)

The icons come from { Link } (X-Collections). Maybe their overview PDFs can help a bit, until we find a solution for this.

Uhhhh, a LOT !

Most of them are already on your list ;-)

Today's most wanted is:

The build-in Icons/Pictures.
Nothing really official at the moment. We're currently doing some proof-of-concept work to evaluate new features and product variants.

The results will have significant influence on our future plans for the product, so please stay tuned here in the blog until we can say more.

In parallel to the proof-of-concept work, we're constantly adding features for MindPlan. More things than I described above. E.g. we're planning to deliver pre-defined analysis views for different project types that will be added to a newly created MindPlan automatically.

We also did some development in C this week to talk to the replication system of Lotus Notes to integrate replication features in the product. The result is a replication function that has a progress displayed and can be interrupted. The interruption feature will likely also be available for the MindPlan search/indexing.

So the next version will be mainly a maintenance release for stability, hopefully less memory consumption and a few new features. I would say it will be released in a few weeks. The official release of the Mac standalone version is also overdue for some time, because it's very stable and production ready.

One of our MindPlan visions (as developers) is a completely flexible and configurable application that can read any kind of data, not just Lotus Notes documents and that can be extended by partners with their own logic and code.

But that will take a while and refactoring work.

What are your favorite features that you would like to be added to MindPlan?
